Roman Parshin is Chief Operating Officer at Cryptolab Algorithmic — the quantitative trading division of Cryptolab Capital.
Roman has over 20 years of experience in financial markets. He launched his career at the Federal Commission for the Securities Market of Russia (equivalent of the US SEC, presently Bank of Russia) in 1998. While working at FCSM in 2000, he was invited to serve as Advisor to the Director for the Stock Market at the Moscow Exchange.
In 2001, he became CEO of the investment company IC KICK — then the largest Russian investment company in terms of assets under management (AUM) and the only company listed on the Russian stock exchange. After IC KICK, Roman founded Pobeda Finance — an investment management company. In 2013, he became the CEO of IC Forum, one of Russia's best-known and reputable algorithmic trading companies. By 2017, Roman had joined Zerich Capital Management — one of Russia's oldest investment companies — as its Managing Director and Chairman of the Board.
Early 2018, he co-founded with Alex Butmanov DTI Fortune — a digital assets algorithmic trading project. DTI later merged with Cryptolab under the brand Cryptolab Algorithmic.
Mr. Parshin has a Master of Science Degree in Finance from the Financial Academy in Moscow, certified with Series 1.0 and 5.0 licenses for brokerage, dealer activities, and asset management from the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
